In-Person Assistance

I had the best time assisting @authorjessielliott at a Book Club Market with @coolauntcreatives and @theguelphhandmadegroup!

The event was held inside the gorgeous greenhouse at @royalcitynursery. This was a unique and totally new setting for me, and I had so much fun meeting new and familiar vendors, chatting with fellow book lovers, and trying something totally different. 🌿📚

In-Person Assistance

I had the awesome opportunity to assist @authorjessielliott at @ignitedbybooksevent, and it was such a blast!

The day started bright and early since we couldn’t set up the night before, so ya gyal was up at 6 AM to head to the venue.

Transporting materials from the car to the venue with Jessi’s trolley was sooo easy and once we were let into the room, I got to work!

After some trial, error, and a lot of talking to myself, I set up Jessi’s table. I’m so freaking proud of how it turned out and hearing compliments from other authors truly made my day 🙊

Event Coordinating

I partnered with Leanne Toshiko Simpson to host a book talk with Natalie Sue at Queen Books and had an incredible time helping out as a content developer and event coordinator.

The night was filled with incredible conversations about Natalie and Leanne’s publishing journey, a reading from each author, a fun raffle, a delicious drink, and iconic cake.

I partnered with Leanne for her book launch and had an incredible time helping out as an event coordinator.

The launch party was an epic adventure filled with live music, tasty drinks and popcorn, fun prizes, an informative discussion on mental health, and a screening of My Best Friend’s Wedding (1997) after Leanne’s conversation!
