Round Table Host

I did something totally outside my comfort zone, and it was SO fun!

First off, another huge thank you to @nick.radford, Steph, and @taowongauthor for the incredible opportunity to be a bookinfluencer at this year’s @torontoindieauthorcon!

I attended more informative panels, interviewed talented author speakers and author attendees (stay tuned for those videos), and networked with so many enthusiastic people.

When Steph reached out to me about an opportunity to lead a roundtable, I immediately said yes! Truthfully, I was terrified because I hadn’t done something like this before, but I reminded myself that growth happens when you try new things and step beyond the familiar (and I’m so glad I did).

I brought a ton of books from authors that I’ve worked with (past and present), and had so much fun talking about my experience on the social side of publishing. Shoutout to @dianemarieewrites and @authorjessielliott for helping me set up, take photos, and be the best supporters ever.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by my table with questions and kind words! I saw you folks taking notes, and I’m glad what I said was helpful. It was such a rewarding experience to share insights and connect with all of you!

Overall, this weekend was an unforgettable experience, and I cannot wait for TIAC 2026!
